Forza Horizon 6, releasing on May 19, 2026, brings a polished Single-Player Convoy system that lets solo players cruise Japan with a squad of AI drivers, known as Drivatars. If you enjoyed FH3’s convoy mechanics, this update feels familiar but more flexible and fun, letting you build a team for racing, drifting, or just exploring the open world.
Managing Your Convoy
Recruitment:
Spot a Drivatar roaming the streets? Drive up and honk your horn (usually with the left thumbstick). Once they respond, they’ll join your convoy. You can recruit up to 11 AI drivers, giving you a total of 12 cars including yours.
Convoy Commands:
Use the ANNA system or D-pad shortcuts to control your convoy. Key options include:
Formation Driving: Place AI cars in patterns, such as tight packs behind you or a “worm” weaving through traffic.
Driving Modes: Switch AI into Drift Mode to mirror your cornering style, or Park Up/Idle to stop for photoshoots.
Navigation: When you set a waypoint, your convoy follows your GPS route. They’ll even follow off-road trails if you take shortcuts.
Gameplay Features
Skill Point Multipliers:
Keeping your convoy tight during drifts, jumps, or stunts boosts your skill score. Team maneuvers matter more than ever, rewarding coordinated driving.
Blueprint Lite:
Plan impromptu races by placing a few checkpoints on the map. Your convoy will follow the route, letting you create spontaneous challenges without complex setup.
Social & Customization:
Sync car liveries across all convoy members and visit Customizable Garages or The Estate to show off your collection. You can tweak convoy behavior, making each run feel personal.
